The new Jaecoo J7 SHS (Super Hybrid System) has been officially announced for the UAE, with deliveries are expected to start by the end of August 2025. This self-charging hybrid SUV redefines convenience by offering a true electric-like driving experience without any need for external charging. It is designed with a focus on range, providing an impressive combined driving range of over 1,200 km on a single tank and battery charge and the pure electric range of 90 km for short city commutes. With its rugged yet refined design, durable build suited for Gulf weather extremes and spacious, tech-rich interior, the J7 SHS stands out as a premium hybrid SUV option in the UAE.

The Jaecoo J7 SHS price in UAE is yet to be announced, but it is expected to be positioned competitively within the mid-size hybrid SUV segment at around AED 125,000, depending on the variant selection.

The 2025 J7 SHS is powered by a 1.5-litre TGDI turbocharged petrol engine paired with dual electric motors, producing a combined output of 328 horsepower and 515 Nm of torque. It is equipped with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) that ensures smooth gearless transitions and enhances acceleration efficiency. Fuel economy is rated at just 3.1 litres/100 km in hybrid mode, making it one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in its category.
